Opening hours:

SUMMER
(1 April to 30 September): 9 am – 6 pm (last entrance at 5 pm)
Saturdays and Sundays from June to the end of August, the Museum is open from 10 am – 7 pm (last entrance at 6 pm)
WINTER (from 2 November until the end of February): 9 am – 4 pm (last entrance at 3 pm)
MARCH AND OCTOBER: on weekdays the Museum is open from 9 am – 4 pm (last entrance at 3 pm), and on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am – 6 pm (last entrance at 5 pm)
CLOSED: MONDAYS, 1 January, Easter, 1 November, 25 and 26 December

Apart from visiting the Museum, you can visit the Hušnjakovo site which you can reach if you take the hiking trail. We therefore recommend wearing comfortable sports/walking shoes.

In the event of poor weather, the site cannot be accessed.

Entrance fee:

Adults: HRK 50
Children, students and pensioners: HRK 25
Family ticket: HRK 100
A family ticket is for parents with small children and includes a maximum of two adult tickets.
No charge: members of the Croatian Museum Society, ICOM, Croatian Geographic Society and other professional associations with a member’s card.

Groups of more than 30 visitors receive a 20% discount only when paying by cash or in advance. Guides must warn the groups about appropriate behaviour in the museum.

The Museum is accessible to wheelchairs for persons with an escort, but the hiking path is not due to dangerous terrain.

Guide (approximately 60 minutes): HRK 100 – Croatian; HRK 150 – English
Combined guide for the Museum and the excavation site: HRK 150 – Croatian; HRK 200 – English
Expert guides also need to be booked in advance.

Further information:

There is a car park for cars and buses in the vicinity of the Museum.
All visitors are kindly asked to obey the rules of not bringing backpacks, food or beverages into the Museum, as well as other objects that could damage the exhibits or hinder movement through the Museum.
We also ask that you use the information and interactive points with care so as not to damage them.

The use of cameras is not permitted in the Museum.
Animals and pets are not allowed in the Museum.
